- Switchback Energy Acquisition: “It’s another blank-check company and we really don’t know anything about it. I know that has not kept anyone from buying something, but, you know, until we find out more about it we don’t know if we have a Nikola, and if we have a Nikola then we’re going to be bad. So we have to find out more before we make a decision. Please, everyone, do that.”
- Disney: “My charitable trust owns Disney, and we’re not going to trade it. We’re just not going to trade it, because we think the pandemic is going to be beaten, and when it does we’re all going to regret that even though we saw all these layoffs that we sold the stock. So right now, I’m willing to accept some short-term loss in money to own Disney.”
- Teladoc Health: The Teladoc-Livongo merger “is going to become the ultimate digitized medicine play, and you’ve got to stick with it. I’m trying to figure out whether to buy it for our charitable trust. I really like it here.”

- Enphase Energy: “We’ve been big believers in Enphase. It’s one of the very few energy companies that we like because it’s a nuts-and-bolts energy company. I like it.”
