- CNBC’s Jim Cramer explained why he thinks next week could be a game changer for Wall Street.
- He told investors to pay attention to a slew of market-moving events, including the Federal Reserve’s meeting, the latest nonfarm payroll report and earnings tech titans Apple, Amazon, Meta and Microsoft.
- “Next week, no hyperbole, is pivotal. It’s significant. I’m willing to make it a free-fire zone of superlatives,” he said.

- CNBC’s Jim Cramer explained how investors can use the “new high” list to identify high-quality stocks.
- Cramer said the list can be a great place to start research and find stocks that might be worth buying during a temporary pullback.
“Bottom Line: Watch for stocks that have pulled back from the new high list.”
(3) [Rerun/再放送] Jim Cramer’s guide to investing: Pay attention to big insider buying (https://www.cnbc.com/2023/12/26/jim-cramers-guide-to-investing-pay-attention-to-big-insider-buying.html)
- CNBC’s Jim Cramer said sometimes it’s worth considering buying a stock at the top if there’s been significant insider buying.
- When company executives buy their own stock while it’s doing well, it can mean the stock is set to go even higher.
“Bottom Line: When you see insider buying in a stock that’s had a solid run… you might want to be buying into that stock, too.”

- CNBC’s Jim Cramer told investors that insider buying coupled with strong short interest could be a solid buying opportunity.
- “If a lot of people are shorting a stock and management starts buying it in sizable amounts, then you should start doing your homework,” he said.

- CNBC’s Jim Cramer explained how investors can build gains by trading around a core position.

(6) [Rerun/再放送] Jim Cramer’s guide to investing: What do you do with a hot stock? (https://www.cnbc.com/2023/12/26/jim-cramers-guide-to-investing-what-do-you-do-with-a-hot-stock.html)
- CNBC’s Jim Cramer explained when it’s likely a hot stock’s popularity is petering out.
- He said it might be time to cash out on a hot, speculative stock once it gets attention from a decent number of Wall Street analysts.
“Bottom Line: Once a hot stock gets too much attention, the rally’s likely on its last leg.”
Other Stocks Discussed (calls with audience) [Rerun/再放送]:
- When looking at an IPO, how much of a decline is a good signal to buy into the stock? –> When you get a stock that is down substantially from where it opened, that is how you look at it. I will find another stock.
- How do you decide what stocks to sell? (How does one go about consolidating their portfolio?) –> I tend to rate stocks one to four, always willing to sell a four or three. I look at it like a painting. I don’t buy a new painting without selling an old paining.
- Should investors look to quants when evaluating a stock? –> I like to buy grea companies with great management and have a good secular tailwind behind them, and the quants don’t necessarily catch those.
- What strategies should investors implement as they build their portfolio for the first time? –> First buy a biotech (eg. DHR, Vertex), Honeywell, then a bit of a flyer (eg. FL)
- How should day traders play their positions after taking profits? –> Put money into Vanguard SP500 fund and keep putting money away every single month.
