- CNBC’s Jim Cramer on Tuesday reacted to AMD’s price fall after the chipmaker announced it was acquiring Xilinx.
- “I think AMD still has a ton of upside. You’re effectively getting today’s incredible, magnificent quarter for free,” the “Mad Money” host said.
- “Lisa Su’s trying to build a semiconductor titan with aspirations well beyond the PC, gaming and the datacenter. I say bank with her and be grateful that you can go along for the ride,” he said.

- “Whenever Covid cases spike, you had to buy the FAANG names [plus Microsoft] because they’ve all found ways to benefit from the pandemic,” the “Mad Money” host said.
- “You have my blessing to buy a little bit before they report on Thursday night if you don’t own them already,” he said of Facebook, Amazon, Alphabet and Apple.

- “We have lost our technological edge to the Chinese, and in some cases to the Russians, and we’re going to have to invest more dollars into some of these new technologies if we’re going to be able to compete with these new threats,” he said.

- West Pharmaceutical Services: “That’s not [a stock] for me.”
- Kimberly-Clark: “I didn’t like the quarter. I mean, it was a big miss. … they should’ve shot the lights out. I mean, Procter did … I’d rather own Procter.”
